Site Stack Website Grant — Official Rules

1. Overview

The Site Stack Website Grant (the "Program") awards one qualifying home service company a complete custom website build valued at up to $35,000, at no cost to the recipient.

The Program is ongoing and runs in rolling review periods. Applications are accepted continuously. One grant is awarded per review period, and a new review period opens immediately after each award is made. There is no final closing date.

2. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, or financial obligation of any kind is required to apply, to be selected, or to receive the grant. Purchasing services from Site Stack does not improve an applicant's chance of being selected.

This is a judged contest based on merit, not a game of chance. Recipients are selected by the Sponsor's evaluation of the application, not by random drawing.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Operate a home service business (including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, pest control, garage doors, or cleaning services)
• Be located in and operating within the United States
• Have at least $1,000,000 in annual revenue
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be the owner, officer, or an authorized decision-maker with the authority to enter into agreements on behalf of the business

Employees of Site Stack, its owners, and their immediate family members are not eligible.

The Sponsor reserves the right to verify any information provided in an application and to disqualify any application containing inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information.

4. How to Apply

Submit a complete application at the application page. All required questions must be answered. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

One application per business. Duplicate applications from the same business will be consolidated, and duplicates do not improve selection chances.

Applications submitted after a review period closes automatically roll into the next review period. Applicants are not required to reapply and remain under consideration in all subsequent review periods unless they ask to be removed.

5. How Recipients Are Selected

At the close of each review period, the Sponsor reviews all applications on file and selects one recipient based on:

• The degree to which the applicant's current website is limiting their business
• The likely measurable impact of a new website on the applicant's operations
• The applicant's readiness and ability to participate in the build process
• The quality and specificity of the written responses

All selection decisions are made at the Sponsor's sole discretion and are final. No feedback on non-selection is provided beyond what is described in Section 10.

6. What the Grant Includes

The recipient receives a custom website build valued at up to $35,000, which may include:

• Custom design and build on the Sponsor's chosen platform
• Copywriting for all pages
• Service-area and location pages
• Booking or quote form integration with the recipient's existing field service software
• Local SEO setup, schema markup, and Google Business Profile optimization
• Call tracking configuration
• Analytics and conversion event setup
• Training on managing the site

Final scope is determined by the Sponsor based on the recipient's business and is documented in a scope agreement before work begins.

The grant does NOT include: domain registration, hosting or platform subscription fees, third-party software licenses or subscriptions, advertising spend, ongoing maintenance or retainer services, photography or video production, paid stock assets, or any work outside the agreed scope.

The grant has no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, sold, or applied as credit toward other services. The Sponsor may substitute an award of equal or greater value at its discretion.

7. Recipient Obligations

The selected recipient must, to receive and keep the grant:

• Respond to the Sponsor's notification within five (5) business days
• Sign a scope agreement and publicity release
• Provide required content — logo files, photographs, service and pricing information, and access to relevant accounts — within agreed timeframes
• Attend a kickoff meeting and respond to review requests within a reasonable period
• Provide before-and-after performance data (traffic, form submissions, and booked jobs) for up to twelve (12) months following launch

If a recipient does not respond within five business days, fails to meet these obligations, or becomes unresponsive for more than thirty (30) consecutive days during the build, the Sponsor may declare the grant forfeited and select an alternate recipient.

8. Publicity and Case Study Rights

By accepting the grant, the recipient grants Site Stack the perpetual, worldwide right to:

• Identify the recipient as a Site Stack client
• Use the recipient's business name, logo, and website in marketing materials, on the Site Stack website, in advertising, in presentations, and on social media
• Publish performance results and metrics from the completed project
• Record and publish video, photography, and written case study material relating to the project

This right is a condition of accepting the grant and is not optional.

9. Taxes

The grant may constitute taxable income to the recipient. The recipient is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes arising from the award. The Sponsor may be required to issue an IRS Form 1099 and may require a completed Form W-9 before beginning work. Recipients should consult their own tax professional.

10. Applicants Who Are Not Selected

Every applicant who is not selected in a given review period:

• Remains under active consideration in all future review periods with no need to reapply
• Is offered a complimentary live website teardown — a screen-share session reviewing their current site and identifying specific conversion and lead-capture issues, at no cost and with no obligation to purchase

The teardown is offered as a courtesy and does not obligate either party to anything further.

11. Privacy and Use of Information

Information submitted in an application is used to evaluate the application, to communicate with the applicant about the Program, and to provide the services described in Section 10.

By applying, applicants consent to being contacted by email, phone, and SMS regarding their application and related services. Message and data rates may apply. Applicants may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.

12. Platform Disclaimer

This Program is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, TikTok, or any other platform. Applicants release these platforms from any and all liability relating to the Program.

13. Changes to the Program

The Sponsor reserves the right to modify these rules, adjust review period timing, pause the Program, or discontinue the Program at any time and for any reason. Material changes will be posted on this page. Applications already on file at the time of a change remain valid.

14. Limitation of Liability

By applying, applicants agree to release and hold harmless Site Stack, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liability arising from participation in the Program or acceptance or use of the grant.

The grant is provided as-is. The Sponsor makes no guarantee of any specific business outcome, revenue increase, lead volume, or search ranking result.

15. Governing Law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from the Program shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alaska.
